Now even make up products can KILL us! whats next? disease-inducing soaps? baby cologne? intoxication from drinking bottled waters? tell me!!

i just watched the news  from 24 ORAS...

as what ive watched earlier .. make up products in Divisoria ,mainly lipsticks and powder , were discovered to contain a certain amount of CADMIUM..and to compound from this utterly terrible news , there have been make up products sold at MALLS that also contain CADMIUM!!! my golly! fucker!!

whats left for us out there ?! this is crazy!

so those of you my friends who were attracted with those dirt cheap cosmetics sold in divisoria.. its time to think! Good for me i was never drawn to such adulterated and fake creations! so cruel for them to produce fake and unsafe products in the first place... hmm.. now whos the culprit behind this? chinese businessmen again??


i was a witness to these products... fake clinique mascaras. dupe estee lauder moisturizers! gawd! i wouldnt even trust POND'S for skincare mainly because im not hiyang and i end up breaking out! but considering fake cosmetics .. which costs not more than 300 pesos.. girl, this isnt what wise consumerism actually  means ..

of course , what captured my attention was the fake MAC studio fix powders! the case, the lettering was really imitated... i saw with my own very  eyes that  there's moist building up on the sides of the powder! yucky! do those perky salesladies know that what they're selling is deleterious already?

  but if one is considered to be a beauty editor in his/her own right,then its would be easy peasy to conclude that such is a fake! its certainly a no brainer , duh, divisoria pa!! the shopping mecca of mostly adulterated and fake stuff.. i mean, im really thankful that theres such a place called divi..
  of course id still shop there for clothes, fashion knick knackss and the like but make ups? beauty loot?.. never!! THEYD HAVE A DEVIL OFA TIME TO CONVINCE ME buy even a single eyeliner ....

accdg to the lab which tested the makeup . i forgot eh..certain  lipsticks and powder are positive of cadmium..grabe! though the brand isnt mentioned ov course.. i hope theyll inform the consumers and be adamant in warning them as early as possible..

if one is using such cadmium infused cosmetics fior quite a long time then obviously , it is without a doubt that you are acquiring it in your system and eventually and haplessly, one is prone in having prostate and kidney cancer.. omg! prostate cancer? my  gayfriends who use divi makeups or lets say doubtful cosmetics... its time to think twice and thrice or more.. ask yourself if that product is worth yer skin.. your lips.. your LIFE..

at the very beginning, ive seen their potentials and consistency  emanating among others ... and ive seen their names and works in PREVIEW and MEGA magazine as well..

but then it appeared that this 21 yr old fine art student from UP diliman who goes by the name MARA REYES was as tough and has been adamant in showing her inspiring  philosophy as evidenced by her  splendid and out of the box designs!

just yesterday.. we went to Glorietta to buy gifts for dear friends who live in the States... and after being a captive in my room for nearly a week, i was so thirsty of dressing up! you know that  feeling? waking up all giddy.. choosing clothes in the closet .. mixing and matching.. all that stuff!

so there.. ive decided to wear my new ALDO ankle-length 2 -inches heels  leather   buckled boots.. coz i was just in the mood ..no other reason..

so were at havaianas to buy flipflops for tita...but before going here, im a bit uncomfy na since we walked  from GB to Glorieta e..






so ayun... kaya ko pa .. mejo ok pa.. heheehe..

 next stop: RUSTAN's to buy perfume for another tita of mine.. gawd! bankrupcy ah! they should or MUST  help me work there! heehehe



after rustan's... so my tita told me that we should go to SM makati which is just a few walks away from Glorieta.. so ayun.. WALK again! walk .. walk.. then  SNAP!!

that explains the weird jasmine  fragrance i smelled the other day when i was alone in my room! creepy!!!!

so we paid a visit....

i so miss this place..

when were small, we used to play taguan  then afterwards we eat kimi ice creme and drink slush puppies! aww.. the simple life..

my tita told me that shes lucky enough to buy a lot in this place.. she bought one for Php18,000 in 1989 ...haha

as ov late.. a single lot costs Php50,000 ... what more if youre planning to build a musoleo...???!!!

the last time i went here was when i took the UP entrance exam!

and i really dint enjoy the place because im friggin nervous ... and hello.. that's like ages ago!

hay.. i love it there! everything's easy breezy! twas a rainy and cloudy day but i am not worried! id rather be soaked wet in the rain than be soaked with sweat under the sun!

Yesterday, my friend Camille and I agreed to go out and apply to some hospitals nearby.. We went to Valenzuela General Hospital but unfortunately there's no one inside the nursing service room! and waiting will never be our option bcoz its freaking hot in that hospital! im so sure theyre  on negative 5 ventialtion! poor student nurses! hay it was only 9:30 am and were already soaking wet! sheesh! not from the rain but from our own sweat! just imagine!

So then we went to Fatima University to  drop our resume and inquire at the same time if there are any trainings for this month.. but there is none.. hiring is freezed til nxt yr.. again.. we  umm.. FAILED.. watever! i dont even wana work there.. just trying our luck hehe..

as soon as we made our way out I saw 3 taiwanese students in white uniform and i remembered my friend Jaimie who used ta work in an English tutorial class for Taiwanese. so I txtd her and she gave us instructions to go to that school.

Our plan is just to drop our resumes and go home but we were so surprised when we got invited to join with  this guy. Oh no!@ i reallly have  the feeling that this isnt just what I think it is nor the way this is should be..



THEN WE were told that were just gon take an English proficiency test... good thing i read my brothers English book the night before.haha.. the test was easy though confusing especially on the SPELLING part.. gawd!whenever  i am bombarded with the same words but with different spelling.. i really get confused! so there! God knows how hard i focused haaahha..
ahhhhhhhhhh highschool days!

so after the 80 item test we were interviewed by the head teacher.. shes nice but she a bit stiff and you know the attitude you get when a boss is talking to an applicant.. i really cant ex[lain.. the interview went well until she informed me that i should go back by 1 pm....

she told me that i should prepare a 30-minute teaching demo about almost any topic.. it can be about food.. experiences.. noun.. Sentence..

so i was in a real panic situation.. cold clammy skin.. increased heart rate ... Blood pressure of 130/90 (well i think so)...


after lunch i got there on time. 1pm sharp! and without missing a beat i was called by her and thats it! surprise teaching demo .. the last time i was in a teaching stint was last year! and I wasnt even asked to do it in English.. whenever we nurses teach in a ward class,we are asked to simplify the terms... transform jargons into layman.. thats a bit difficult as well.

and now im being asked to teach English to a taiwanese student who i cant even tell if he really understood  what i just said..?? hayyyyy... ill never be a good teacher!! hehehee
or just a teacher ..

well after the demo ... she gave me some feedbacks on my demo and i really comitted a lot of mistakes... as in a LOTTTTTT!!! not just on grammars and pronounciations but the manners in teaching as well.. like im talking too fast.. i bombarded the taiwanese student with lotsa questions! actually, this is  my first time to really talk to a taiwanese huh...as in really talk for long.. and its pretty  hard,, might as well talk to a 7-year old kid..

everything was a FIRST! first job interview.. first teaching stint.. argghh lol

im still crossing my fingers! i hope ill get the job so i can like earn some money for my luho...

I decided to get a manicure the other day coz my fingers have become so distracting...


hangnails everywhere!


blame it on my worst habit: NAILBITING..

i remember when i was 10.. my tita wounded my nails while she's cutting it... the bleeding was too much for me to take that i became avoidant to nailcutters...


so what i do to cut my long nails is i bite them.. it became a habit .. i do it everytime.. some pipol do it when theyre nervous but i do it for as long as i can rememebr.. haahaha

now im paying the consequences..paying services to get a clean and presentable nails that is!



poor me..



next week ill be applying to some hospitals again with my friend and well try to apply as an english teacher to taiwanese students ...


so i need ta have a clean and well trimmed nails!
